Fender Bender
So I was involved in a...fender bender this morning. :( Not what I wanted to deal with on my way to work. It really wasn't a big deal-no damage done, no whiplash. I was sitting at the stoplight waiting for the light to turn green, then bam! I pull over with the other car and we both look at our vehicles. It was a young teen girl and she kept apologizing and I said it was okay and that it was an accident-I wanted to say calm down and be mad at her for making me late to work but I controlled myself. LOL. We exchanged info but I didn't see any damage except her metal front vanity plate was bent. So I was 5 min late to work-not too bad. Tonight I watch David, tomorrow work during the day while Tracey babysits, tom night go to Candace's party, and Sunday spend the day in Iowa at the reunion. I am ready for next weekend already!! :) No wait-I am ready for vacation! We are finally planning a vacation in September to go to the Ozarks! I know I've probably already said but I can't wait! We will be there on Abigail's birthday so that will be fun. Alas no party this year-with spending money on vacation it just wouldn't work out. Oh well-Abigail will still be spoiled more than need be by the family members. I'm still trying to come with grips that my baby will be two years old!! We've been doing the potty thing kind of on/off. It's hard for me to focus when I'm babysitting two other kids. I want to be able to focus on her when it's that time. She says potty and is getting better about her timing. We just need to enforce the potty more but I don't want her to get upset about it either. I figure she will be ready when she's going to be.

Halfway there
Halfway thru the week! I still need to work Fri and Sat but that's ok. We need the money so I won't complain! I watched David last Friday,Monday and Tuesday-he's doing a lot better than he used to. I don't know if he was just going thru a colic phase or what but I'm glad that seems to be behind us. I have a pic from FridayI might have to post. Since Abigail wasn't home I put him in her crib to sleep about 8. He fell asleep sitting up, slumped over-it was too funny! Well tonight is church and tomorrow I'm off work and watching Jacob 12-5. Tomorrow night I'm planning on going to Tongie for water aerobics. My mom and Marie started it a while back and my mom said it's only $2 a session. You pay when you sign in and only pay when you attend so it sounds like a good deal to me. My brother Paul will be watching Violet and Abigail while we work out-hee hee. Friday night I watch David, Saturday night we're going to Candace's party, and Sunday we'll be out of town all day at a reunion in Iowa. Busy weekend ahead-no rest. :( Oh well lots of fun too.

Happy 4th of July!!!!
I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th! Last night I babysat David-Tracey went back to work this week. Next week I'm watching him Monday, Tuesday, and Friday night each from 2-10. I work during the day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday so next week will be very busy and tiring. I'm working today so yea 8 hours holiday pay on top of whatever hours I work. :) Tonight we are going to Travis' cousins (?) to watch fireworks and eat so that will be fun. Tomorrow we have church, going to my parents, party at the church at 3, church, and fellowship so tomorrow will be busy as well. Last night Abigail spent the night with Nonnie since I am working and Travis is working 9-6. I was glad to be able to watch David one-on-one after 7 since Abigail kept wanting to sit on him, hug/kiss him (which he doesn't like very much), and try to feed him roast beef!!! Thursday we met up with Melissa, Jen, Roxy, and their kids to swim at the Bonner pool. Abigail had a blast! They have little fountains that she thought were the neatest thing, she also liked for me to hold her hands and help her jump in the pool. That is quite a workout on the arms!! I was still recovering from my sunburn Tuesday so I'm usually hibernating at that point but yet I had more sunburn afterwards on the top of my legs. Ouch! My eczema has one trigger point right now on my left thumb that itches like crazy! I was up at 1 this morning for a while dealing with trying to get comfy laying on sunburn and my finger hurting from being itchy. {{SIGH}} I don't know when I will have time to post pics but I will try to take some new ones tonight.

Deanna Rose
I figure I could put up a post since I have the nice..quiet...house to myself. Alas Travis has the camera with him so maybe the pics can be posted tonight or tomorrow. Anyways yesterday we took the kids to Deanna Rose and they had a blast! Abigail loved the bin where she could go in and pet the goats. She didn't want to leave that area. There was another goat area-or "kid"-where you could feed them a baby bottle of milk for $1. It was the cutest thing ever. She was shoving that bottle in the kid's mouth just like she does to her baby dolls and the animal was loving it as much as she was!!! It was a lot of fun. Jacob's favorite are was the sand area where you used a tractor to dig up sand. I didn't know we could take our drinks inside so we will be better prepared next time. Admission is free so we spend under $10 on snacks/ice cream/food for the animals so very affordable. They had at least three different playground/slide areas to play on so Abigail was happy. They are doing some additions that will be done so I want to go back then-if not before. It's in Overland Park so it was a bit of a drive-not something to do frequently but something we definately will do again. I wanted to get some fun stuff done this week because I will be starting to watch my nephew David again. It's been a nice 2 month break but with a 10 month old you really can't go anywhere in this heat. I plan on meeting up with people at the pool tomorrow with Jacob and Abigail. Most likely Travis will stay home and get stuff done around the house. Just received a call from Bonnie that Abigail had her first bee sting-ouch!! :( It doesn't seem to look too bad but they will keep an eye on it. I better get off of here and start some dishes or something productive. ;)
